For sale is a very rare antique porcelain Tureen with lid by the famous Potter " Richard Alcock" of Burslem, Staffordshire, England. This beauty has exquisite hand-painted pink rose florals, with 22k gold trim (handles, rim) of Tureen. This rare work by Richard Alcock is approximately7 1/2" tall
with lid and 6 1/2" at widest part, and is in very good to excellent condition (there are a few minor imperfections on the clear glaze, typical of that era). The Makers Mark on the bottom is molded into the piece.
Richard Alcock was most famous for patenting "white ironstone" pottery. This piece is very rare, and would make a stunning display or addition to your collection.
