This is a Deluxe & Complete Restoration kit for a Pioneer SX-626. This includes all parts needed to rebuild/restore your phono board, preamp board, power supply board and main board.
ALL THE QUALITY of other rebuild kits...for less!!! Includes upgraded trimmers others don't provide. Largest compliment of Wima caps sold by any kit seller anywhere!
The kit includes:
42 Capacitors of which 12 are audiophile Wima Film caps.
8 Replacement Transistors
4 Replacement trimmers
2 Off Board large filter Caps
Kits include all on board capacitors to recap/restore
all amplifier
sections of this receiver. The kit replaces appropriate transistors. It includes the off board filter caps. It also includes bourns trimmers (for critical amp adjustments). This will restore a working unit to better than showroom sound, drop the noise floor and probably make you wonder why you waited. It will remove parts that are well past their promised shelf life and whose failure could take out other parts as well. Kits are separated by board for easily locating parts as you work.
Caps for the tuner section are NOT included as is usually working as it should and replacing them can and does mess with tuner alignment.
The kit replaces electrolytic and tant caps with high quality caps sourced via reputable USA distributors. No cheap Chinese knockoffs!
Any capacitor of 4.7uf or lower is replaced with a high quality
Wima
film caps for better sound and reliability.
Electrolytic Caps are high quality
Nichicon or Panasonic FC
caps. All new caps will be the same capacitance as the originals with voltage ratings at least as high as the originals.
Transistors are highly reliable
ON-SEMI Fairchild
devices. Not all (not even most) transistors get replaced, just those that time and collective knowledge have shown to be either noisy, unreliable or at the edge of their operating ability. No diodes are included, like many transistors, they do NOT need replaced unless damaged. New parts for the sake of new parts makes little sense. Trimmers are made by

. These are the same parts I use when rebuilding.
The individual doing the work should be competent with a soldering gun, multimeter, reading a schematic etc. I am not a tech, but I have successfully done hundreds of restorations over the last 20 years.
