Description

Pioneer SX-1050 Vintage Stereo Receiver. Beautiful cosmetic shape. I just had it completely taken apart and cleaned to include cleaning and freeing up the frozen pots (see last pick). All the capacitors were checked to include the big power caps which were deemed in good shape and not in need of replacement. The variable resistors on the power board were checked as well as all the contacts cleaned. Was given a clean bill of health. I have tested the phono and aux settings and connected it to a variety of speakers and both channels work. Like any vintage receiver nearly 50 years old anything can go wrong down the road but this is a highly sought after receiver in line with the highest power Sansui and Marantz systems.
