    An absolutely wonderful pair of antique Georgian silver and paste earrings.    Paste is a transparent flint glass that simulates diamonds.   Used extensively in the Georgian era in the hand made production of fine jewelry.   Worn in the evenings so that the candle light would enhance the brilliance of the stones.
    This extraordinarily gorgeous pair measures 2 3/4 inches in length with ear wire.   Width is 1/2 inch at their widest.    Weight for the pair is 8.3 g.     5.3 dwt
