    Description

    For sale is a vintage gold tone (may be real gold but I have no way of testing it) measuring 7/8 inches wide by 5/8 inches high.   It has black enamel diamond shapes around the edge and is a concave design.  The back is engraved Eliz.th Payne Oct 7 Apr' 1814 At 33.   There are some scratches on the plastic or glass cover and I cannot tell if the braided hair need a cleaning or if it is the cover.  Then again this is from 1814.  This pin weighs 4 grams and with come in the white pouch I received it in marked E.J. Markham in Essex.
