FISHER 500C STEREO RECEIVER TUBE OUTPUT AMAZING AWESOME CONDITION!!

I feel that this is a most unusual 500C. It was installed in an infrequently used guest house this family owned on their property. I was taken back when I looked at the condition. There is literally zero scratches on the front panel. There is
NO
wear that I can see on the front panel. It seems obvious that this 500C saw very little use. It may have NEVER been used for that matter. When I purchased it all the tubes were the ORIGINALS. I  have tested each tube and will provide specs on them. The four final tubes are
EXACT MATCHES.
Virtually every 500C I have ever seen have output tubes that were looked worked to death. Not these. NO milky chocolate appearance. Nice clear glass. I also returned each tube to the same socket I removed it from to maintain the factory alignment. I found two 12AX7 that were marginal. I replaced them with NOS quality tubes.
A person could look long and hard and might never come up with a Fisher 500C in this
absolutely stellar condition
. I saw no reason to change the electrolytics since I heard no hum at all. I did clean all pots and switch contacts with Caig Laboratory chemicals. All controls are silent. I have read extensive opinions on the bias adjustments on this unit. Virtually every one says simply “
leave them alone
”. That is what I did. The red factory sealant paint appears intact on both potentiometers. The family I bought it from indicate the unit never had to be serviced that they remember.
There are several "modification kits" available that are supposed to improve the sound and correct deficiencies on this model Fisher. I will leave that decision up to the new owner. This unit sounds great
to me
. I make no claims as to how you will think it sounds since my opinion is probably different than yours.
FRONT PANEL CONDITION
: A picture is worth a thousand words. A video is worth even more. I took a video that shows every square inch of the front of the panel. You can see for yourself the near mint condition. To view it you must go to YouTube and search for “500c-panelscan” You will see that I am not exaggerating the awesome condition of this Fisher. The knobs fit snugly on the shafts. There are no cracks on the knobs. All metal escutcheons on the knob ends are very bright and shiny.
It is my personal belief as an Electronic Technician that if the output tubes are truly well balanced that temperature of the tubes,  after significant warmup time, will be very close to each other. I confirmed this by playing a mono music source at about 75% volume, then took an infrared temperature reading at the very top of each tube. ALL four of the tubes were
within 6 degrees of each other.
Form your own opinion as to how significant this is to you. The date code is identical on these four tubes. The code is "BU".
This Fisher never had a cabinet. It was custom installed in a temperature controlled custom audio cabinet with other electronics. I do not believe that you can find another 500C that is closer to Original Factory than this one. I personally have never seen a 500C with a front panel that appeared to be as new.
I must comment that there were quite a few websites that specifically name the Fisher 500C as the finest receiver EVER made! That sure says a LOT. I read many reviews and several people agree with that assessment. So, what I am presenting is, as far as I can see, a 500C that is in near original condition. With all of its tested original tubes (except for the two I replaced)
and in stunning physical condition.
