Antique Georgian Period Ruby and Diamond Screw Back Earrings

Description

An awesome pair of antique earrings from the early 19th century Georgian period. Diamonds and rubies are in 18k gold closed back settings. They attach to the ear with 14k gold screw backs. These were most likely high end buttons for a wealthy gentleman and converted in the early 20th century. They measure about 10.75 mm's high and wide. No damage and the stones have wonderful sparkle.
These earrings should not get wet to preserve their integrity.
I will ship in the antique box shown, First Class Registered insured with signature required.
