Sepia Tones against a Cream Background Depict a Woman Mourning at a Monument with the Words NOT LOST BUT GONE BEFORE. a sentiment popular during the Georgian Period reflecting the hope that a Loved One was not Gone Forever but Waiting in the Afterlife for His or Her Loved Ones.
Crafted in 14k Gold (Tested) the Ring is engraved on the Back "D Smyth  died 4 Jan 1783 Aged 45".
Size 7. In Excellent Antique Condition with no cracks, chips or breaks. Weight is 4 Grams. Any white spots are light reflections.
