hand-carved
the larger Santa Claus from a 1-1/2" thick curvy piece of driftwood, which was gathered along the banks of the Verde Valley near Sedona in northern Arizona. This
one-of-a-kind
Patriotic Santa woodcarving includes white stars outlined in dark blue above the wood-burned "fur trim" on his hat ... against a red background. Santa features dark blue eyes, and a long woodburned moustache which sweeps to one side to match the curve of the dried wood. Featured on the back is her "signature ponytail" with a red bead. She signed the back with her initials and the year (2020). This carving measures about 1-1/2" wide by 10" high. A small metal hook has been added at the back for hanging.
The smaller Santa was
hand-carved
from a piece of dried yucca stalk (see photo which shows the yucca plant in its natural state in northern Arizona). This little guy features a small Saguaro cactus painted on his hat, which features a wood-burned top. He has green eyes (to match the Saguaro cactus) and also features her "signature ponytail" with red bead on the back. This carving measures 4" long by 3/4" high. She also added a small metal hook at the top.
