Description

1973 Mercury Comet Sedan with 66,704 Original Miles. Runs and drives, has many brand new parts and has been my project car for the past two years. I am selling because I need to move to a smaller apartment complex and cannot bring the vehicle with me any longer. Many parts on this car have been completely rebuilt, including the motor, and it is ready to move on to bodywork and painting- things which I do not have the ability to do at the moment.
It has a clean Kentucky title with two prior owners, and was sold originally by the large Ford-Lincoln-Mercury dealer in Louisville, KY.
Work I've done on this car;
- New Brake Lines (includes extra lines I did not need to replace)
- New Brake Master Cylinder
- New Drums and Bearings all around.
- Replaced all Lights, including Auxiliaries.
- New Radiator, hoses, coolant system etc.
- New Motor Mounts
- New Pistons and Rings
- New Conrod Bearings, Crank Bearings (additional extra engine parts come with)
- Rebuilt Carburetor
- New Fuel Pump, new fuel sender.
- New Rims and Tires
- Added Tachometer and Water Temperature gauge
- New Coil, Points, Plug Wires, Distributor Rotor, etc.
- New Vacuum Lines & Fuel Lines
- New Belts and Engine Accessories (Thermostat, water pump, etc.)
Parts that come with the vehicle;
- Four spare doors
- Four original hubcaps
- Stainless Steel Transmission Cooler lines (needs put in)
Known Issues;
Left and right rear quarterpanel rust at the bottom.
Rust on the doors.
Missing lower front valance and trim piece.
