Ford only offered the Skyliner from 1957 to 1959 making this car a rare and collectable find. From 1957-1958 The Ford Fairlane 500 Skyliner was produced. In 1959 right before the starting of the Skyliner production, Ford changed the name to The Ford Galaxie Skyliner. This particular vehicle was produced August 4th, 1959 which would classify it as a "Galaxie Skyliner". The retractable hardtop option or “Hide-Away Hardtop" was unique to Ford branded products and was not offered on any of the other Ford Motor Company brands like Lincoln, Mercury, or Edsel. This is an ideal cruising machine with its original 352 CID V8 that has plenty of power to scoot around this boat of a car. The power from the V8 is sent through a super smooth shifting 3-speed Cruise-O-Matic Automatic transmission which makes driving a breeze. This car was made for those summer evening cruises with the family or with friends. It has seating for six on the very comfortable cloth and vinyl interior. So, drop the power retractable hard top, crank up the tunes, and cruise with the wind in your hair. Further adding to the Summer vibe of this car is the very clean April Green and Colonial White paint which matches well to the color matched interior. General Terms
AVAILABILITY
: We advertise our inventory across multiple websites. It is best practice to inquire about the advertised vehicle prior to purchasing in order confirm that it was not already sold. Vehicles may be sold prior to its eBay advertising ending, and we reserve the right to end advertising/listing early or to cancel any and all bids/offers solely at our discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.  In the event that a bidder has the winning bid or finalizes the buy it now price, but did not check availability and the vehicle was sold before a deposit and contracts were executed, then we are not liable nor responsible.
AS-IS WHERE-IS
: All vehicles are sold on an AS-IS WHERE-IS basis.  Having a third party inspection and addressing any concerns is recommended prior to purchase.  It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to verify all advertisements which shall include but not limited to options, accessories, and vehicle condition before time of sale.  If the purchaser chooses to waive an inspection, the AS-IS WHERE-IS is still enforced.  Any concerns will not be addressed post sale as the sale is final without cures or remedies.
PAYMENT
: We require a non-refundable ,000 deposit within 24 hours of offer being placed.  A deposit is a commitment to purchase and is applied towards the purchase price. The commitment to purchase is not contingent upon inspection, financing, or any other terms or conditions.
We require full payment within 7 days of offer acceptance, unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing.
If the deposit and/or full payment are not provided within said time frame, all vehicles will be relisted and transaction will be considered null and void.
We accept wire transfer (preferred), cashier's check, personal check (vehicle shipment will be delayed until check clears), ACH, credit cards (for the agreed deposit amount only and will incur a 3% fee), and in person cash payments. We also offer vehicle financing, please inquire for details prior to making bids/offers.  PayPal and American Express is not accepted.
VEHICLE RELEASE
: Signed purchase packet which shall include but not limited to the purchase contract, cleared payment in full, and a copy of your driver's license will be needed before the vehicle is released.
Fees and Taxes
All finalized transactions will have additional charges if applicable which could include the following: sales tax, title fees, license & registration fees, and other additional government or licensing agency charges to register the vehicle.  The purchaser is responsible for these charges.
The advertised price and winning auction bids shall include a document fee of 9.73.
All credit cards are charged a 3% convenient fee.
